Amaga Private Limited Company was founded and established in September 1998 G.C. by Ethiopian citizen one family members as a trading company of textile products in accordance
with the commercial code of Ethiopia, proclamation No. 166/1960 in the Addis Ababa city administration at Addis Ketema sub-city as a private limited company.
Since its establishment, Amaga Private Limited Company has been expanding in terms of diversity of its business sectors as well as extending its geographical presence. Nowadays, it engages in manufacturing foam, gas and chemical products, service, import and export trading (coffee, sesame seed, pharmaceuticals, medical equipments, construction materials, electro-mechanical equipments, and chemicals), real estate, guest house, and related business in different regions of the country like Addis Ababa, Oromiya, and Amhara. The company is trying its best to contribute to the country's development by creating excellent job opportunities for more than 1,250
permanent employees and about 250 other temporary workers. Moreover, the company is supplementing the economy by earning foreign hard currency from its export business.
Today it has expanded into other sectors but remains highly focused in the manufacturing of polyurethane foam products. Foam products at Amaga are polyurethane based and are available in many different sizes, shapes and density. Our foams are strong, versatile, and easy to use.
